Bathing a newborn means laying them down on something hard and cold, usually a folded towel that slides off the counter.

BathMatty started as a fix for exactly that — a quilted, padded mat with enough cushion to actually matter, in colours that look like they belong in a home rather than a hospital.

Every mat is still cut, quilted, and finished by hand, one at a time, in the USA.
